A compact emergency sleeping bag that can sit in the cupboard with the rest of your readiness kit. If the heating fails in winter, it comes down to keeping your body heat. The authorities recommend using the household's blankets, duvets and warm clothes - the emergency sleeping bag is a space-saving supplement, so everyone in the household has something to get into.
